5 ideas you can steal now for your next Pajama Party

I remember when my daughter was younger we had plenty of pajama parties so to say the least I have had my fair share of planning pajama parties. I always made sure to create different activities so everyone would have fun.  Here are 5 activities/party ideas you can steal to entertain your next pajama party for girls age 5-8 years old. I will leave it up to you to know what age is appropriate and who will enjoy some of these pajama party ideas but I believe no matter the age they will all have a great time! Now let’s get down to the activities:

1. Coloring Books/Coloring Pages You can keep the little ones occupied when they start to arrive to the pajama party by having them color coloring books or pages with crayons or colored pencils –

Coloring keeps everyone occupied and relaxed until all the guests arrive. You can print free ones

online or buy a coloring book from the Dollar Store and tear pages from it. There all types of coloring books Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Frozen, Bratz, Disney Princess and so much more. 2. Sleeping Masks. Have guests decorate sleeping masks that can be created from foam paper. Items you will need:

Sleeping Masks – made out of foam paper
  • Foam paper
  • Gem or jewel stickers
  • Sticker Foam Letters/Numbers
  • Ribbon or Baker’s Twine

You can find templates of sleeping masks on the internet or email me and I will send it to you. Making sleeping masks this way is not messy. You don’t have to worry about glue or paint. Easy to clean with no sticky situations.

3. Spa. Every girl loves to be pampered. Let them begin to somewhat relax as you paint their little finger and toe nails. Make sure they have on their sleeping masks while you are painting their nails. Let them know it is a surprise after toes are done they can remove the mask and see there lovely painted nails. If you have gems left from the stickers they used earlier you can add it to the nails for decorations.

4. Glow in the dark bracelets – Let the Glow party begin. You can find these glow bracelets at Target for a $1.00. Have the little guests put on the glow bracelets and turn off the light. They can either prepare to watch movies or sing songs, or dance to their favorite tunes while they light up the rooms with their glow in the dark bracelets.

5. Decorate a Pillowcase – You can have the guests use Sharpie Markers to decorate pillowcases. Have the Birthday girl write her name. For example, Avery’s 5th birthday party. Then have the other girls sign their name on the birthday girl’s pillow. You can have them decorate them any way you wish. After that it’s pillow fight time!
